Cloud
Convergence is pleased to announce the launch of CloudMeeting, our new desktop video conferencing, secure instant messaging, and global IP group communications service for business. Please visit www.cloudmeeting.com
Cloud Convergence was founded to develop and offer value-added broadband services
which leverage emerging rich media technologies and the growing availability
of broadband access in Brazil and other Latin American countries. The
expansion of high-speed internet access to small and medium-sized companies
implies an opportunity for new business services which wed enhanced productivity
to simplicity of implementation and use.
The much-touted technological convergence of voice and data and video
in the internet "cloud" is fundamental to the second and, in our opinion,
more profound wave of the internet revolution, now underway. Combined
with the proliferation of high-speed bandwidth at low cost, this second
wave is making enterprise-grade processing power and software accessible
to even the most indifferent small business owner, making possible a magnitude
of change in business practices comparable to the migration from the mainframe
to the PC, and bringing the Internet closer to its true potential.

principal executives of Cloud Convergence have extensive IT and telecommunications
start-up and corporate management experience, and represent a blend of
both Silicon Valley and Brazilian perspectives on technology and business
possibilities.
